About Kevin Naff

Kevin Naff is an author and award-winning journalist who has edited the Washington Blade for 20 years. 

He is an experienced public speaker, delivering major addresses at the Pentagon’s Fort Meade on the repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” and twice serving as keynote speaker at the Small Business Administration’s Pride celebration. In addition, he toured college campuses with a speech in 2016, including stops at Penn State University, UCLA, and Loyola University.  

He has represented the Blade in many media appearances over the years, including on NPR, CNN, and Fox News, among others. He served as a regular substitute host of an LGBTQ-themed radio show on XM-Sirius Satellite Radio.
